2008-W with the Reverse of the 2007 Silver Eagle. Perfect MS-70 Satin Finish

Probably the Mint's Greatest Modern Error. In 2008 the Mint slightly changed the reverse of the Silver Eagle design. When setting up the dies for the 2008-W Silver Eagle they used the unchanged die from the 2007 reverse. There were only about 40,000 of these made and this one is a PERFECT MS-70. In a beautiful Wood Presentation Case.
